Richard Wang

Richard Wang is a highly regarded entrepreneur and technical expert in the field of battery technologies. He is the founder and former CEO of Cuberg, which he led through a successful acquisition by Northvolt and grew to 225 employees. At Cuberg, he oversaw the development of its lithium metal cell and pack technologies and spearheaded its go-to-market strategy. He is now an advisor at Inlyte Energy, which is developing iron and sodium grid batteries.
He graduated from Stanford University with his PhD in materials science and from Caltech with his BS. He was selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 and MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35.
