Claudia Sender Ramirez is an experienced business leader and board member with a diverse background. She currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of several large publicly traded companies, including Telefonica S.A. in Spain, Lafarge Holcim in Switzerland, Gerdau and Embraer in Brazil.
Prior to her board roles, Sender Ramirez was the CEO and President of LATAM Airlines Brazil, and also served as the Clients Vice President for LATAM Airlines. She started her career at TAM Airlines in 2011, shortly before it merged with LAN to form the LATAM Airlines group.
Earlier in her career, Sender Ramirez worked in the consumer goods industry at Whirlpool, where she gained experience in strategy, marketing, and product development. She also previously worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, serving clients across multiple industries and continents.
Sender Ramirez holds a chemical engineering degree from the University of São Paulo and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014.
In addition to her corporate board roles, Sender Ramirez also advises several non-profit organizations, including Amigos do Bem, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, and Gastromotiva.
