Tessa is a digitally native CEO and now startup founder who thrives in challenging environments, and has a strong track record of driving change. She is the Co-Founder & CEO of OLIO, a free app tackling the problem of food waste by connecting neighbors with each other, and volunteers with local businesses, so that surplus food can be given away, not thrown away. OLIO has grown to over 4 million users in 5 years.

She is also a Venture Partner at MSM fund (Mustard Seed MAZE), an early-stage generalist impact fund, and Business Mentor Virgin StartUp, a not-for-profit organization that helps founders to start up and thrive through funding and business support.

Experience includes startups, digital transformation, managing for high growth, global expansion, turnaround, acquisition and integration. Worked in both B2C and B2B across retail, media, events, and financial services, in the UK and globally. Passionate about sustainability, the circular economy and zero waste.

Tessa graduated from University of Cambridge with BS in Social and Political Sciences and received her MBA from Stanford.
